dream, Fri 6/11/09

I was in some sort of video game. The video game resembled work. A woman told me off because she said 'take down' to me and I didn't understand what she meant. I asked her, and she told me to stop being smart with her. I said I really didn't know what she meant and was sorry. She just told me to drop what I was holding and leave, as all employees were instructed to do so.

There was a part of the place we were in that was the 'hard' part of the video game. We all kept getting killed.

My mother and brother were arguing. Apparently the only way I could settle the argument was by phoning Stephen Fry. I rang him, and we were looking at the same page of a book, comparing the illustration. I corrected him and he thanked me. I was telling my brother and mother that I corrected Stephen Fry who knows all about something! They didn't know who he was. I didn't understand how they could not know when we'd all lived in England for so long.

dream, Thu 18/6/09 & Sat 20/6/09

Oscar Wilde was being put in prison for being a homosexual. I was outraged and confused. I saw other people being imprisoned for similar such reasons and the conditions in which they were kept were atrocious.

Once I saw that they were keeping animals in disgusting conditions, I began to cry.

Sat

There was a beautiful Japanese woman. I wanted to kiss her, so I did. She tasted of dark chocolate and for some reason, her face was rough, as if I were kissing a man who had stubble.

In order to be closer to her, I had to drag this massive water hose along a road in the night. I can't remember what for exactly but it had to stretch to another house.

In said house, I had a lover. He was a very good sort, but at some stage I did something wrong - unintentionally and he decided to leave me. I became incredibly distraught and kept trying to tell him that it was a mistake, I didn't mean to cause offence. He didn't care and left me.

* * * I had a laptop on and several people had tried to leave me messages on my IM client. One of them was Z. I tried talking to him, but it was like talking to a robot. All of a sudden, information about his new game flooded through. I couldn't understand why he waited a year to make contact and why it was all stilted and automated.

dream & night activity, Fri 27/3/09

The Mozart opera Cosi fan tutte was playing on the radio and also happened to be on the television. I switched off the radios in the house playing it in favour of watching it on the telly. For some strange reason, there was a scene in it where Winona Ryder was dressed as Jo in Little Women and she was in a bedroom. On the bed was Christian Bale, in modern-day underwear but in character as Teddy. He was going to try to seduce her. She put her hand on his leg and fell asleep next to him.

Cut to me being on a run-down bike, and a weird metal windowframe is attached to the back and acting as my new brake to replace the broken front one (I don't understand it either). I dodged cars, jumped over a few, cycled up and down a street to go to some breakfast place.

Then an old family friend of mine was playing a Nintendo game and for some reason a text message had been sent to my phone with colours and codes to progress to the next level. I cycled home (which was not really anything like my real home) to help her out with the game. There was some beige-like console with four round buttons on it. For some reason, only Winona Ryder as Jo knew codes or combinations to press the buttons to activate the next level of the game.

 

Much later, after this dream, my father told me I screamed the word "WHAT!" really loudly in my sleep.
